Hundreds come out for ‘Walk MS 2019’ in West Hartford

Another community here in the state hosted an MS walk this weekend. This time in West Hartford. 

A large crowd showed up to take part in this fundraiser. It raises money for programs and services to help those battling MS as well as their families. 

Lisa Gerrol, a member of the CT Chapter of the National MS Society said, “In addition to that we are funding research to slow the progression, stop the progression and eventually reverse the damage.”

Joy Pozefsky said, “Having the disease has made me want to do as much as i can to help other people with the disease.”

There are a total of 9 events like this one that have already happened or will happen here in the state. 

The goal is to raise a million dollars when all is said and done.
