Hartford

HARFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Exit 49 Capitol Avenue on-ramp to I-84 westbound is closed after a car rolled over and struck a bridge abutment Thursday afternoon.

The car appears to have flipped upside down on the side of the road, colliding with a light pole and landing at the foot of an overhead bridge.

State Police say no serious injuries are reported at this time to the one occupant of the vehicle.

Crews have cleared the crash and the on-ramp is back open.
