Investigation underway after death of 40-year-old man in Southington

Police are investigating the untimely death of a 40-year-old man in Southington.

Police say that just before 9 a.m. Sunday morning, officers responded to a medical incident at the Homewood Suites, at 1096 West Street, when they found an unresponsive man, later identified as Sean Lawlor.

Officers administered CPR and first aid before Lawlor was taken to Bradley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Lawlor’s body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. While there were no signs of foul play, the incident remains under investigation.
