Nearly 2 dozen summons arrests made after street racing operation in Hartford

Hartford police conducted a large operation regarding street racing in the city on Saturday night.

According to officials, units responded to the South Meadows district after receiving many complaints from numerous residents and businesses.

At the scene, police made 22 summons arrests.

57 warning/inspection mandates were made, and five vehicles were also towed from the scene.

Authorities said more operations will follow.
