New Britain man tries to rob two businesses, bank

Hartford

Police say a New Britain man tried to rob two businesses and a bank in less than a hour.

New Britain police say 42-year-old Larry Lopez attempted to rob a TD Bank, but left before he got any money.

He then allegedly tried to rob a fast food restaurant- and he was thwarted again.

Finally, police say he robbed a package store and got away with an unspecified amount of money.

This all happened within the span of one hour last Friday.
