New Britain Police Department to kickstart new Senior Explorer Program

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — The New Britain Police Department is starting a new Senior Explorer Program.

The program is for city residents ages 18 to 21 with an interest in a law enforcement career. The program provides law enforcement training and a working knowledge of the police department.

The department hopes to have seven to ten senior police explorers. For more information, visit the department’s official website.
