One dead in two-car crash in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A motor vehicle crash involving at least two vehicles has left one person dead Sunday in Hartford.

According to Hartford Police Lieutenant Paul Cicero, members of the Patrol and Crime Scene Division were on scene investigating an accident at 249 Newington Avenue.

While on the scene of the crash Sunday morning, the News 8 crew was able to observe two vehicles – a red Toyota Takoma truck a tan Toyota sedan – post-collision. Both vehicles appear to have sustained significant damage in the crash.

No other details have been made available at this time.
