Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection to an identity theft and larceny case in June in South Windsor.
South Windsor Police had warrants to arrest Felix Molina, 34, and Kevin Thomas, 32, both of Brooklyn, New York. A resident who lives on Windy Hill Drive in South Windsor discovered his credit card was being used illegally in New York, charging over $10,000. Some purchases were being shipped to the victim’s home, but were intercepted by the suspects before arrival to hide the illegal purchasing.
The two men were arrested previously in June after a UPS driver alerted police of suspicious behavior.
Molina was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, conspiracy to commit identity theft, and conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation. He posted a $10,000 surety bond and will appear in court on Aug. 9.
Thomas faces criminal attempt to commit larceny, larceny, identity theft, and criminal impersonation. He was held at court on bond.
