PD: New Britain man illegally rode ATV on streets, in park

Hartford

A New Britain man has been charged with illegally riding an ATV on city streets and in a park.

19-year-old Jakub Beilawski was arrested on Sunday.

Police said he was caught doing donuts and burnouts on an ATV inside Stanley Quarter Park.

He ran from police, but was caught when the ATV got stuck on a tree branch.

Beilawski is facing several charges, including reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Police also took the ATV.
