A Windsor Locks woman is facing a manslaughter charge after her vehicle allegedly struck a man earlier this month.

According to police, on May 3, officials responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Old County Road.

Davis was then given a field sobriety test which she allegedly failed. Davis was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence after police say she failed two more sobriety tests.

Franco was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

On Tuesday, Davis surrendered to police and was charged with manslaughter in the 2nd degree with a motor vehicle.

She is being held on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
