Pedestrian struck by vehicle in East Windsor, portion of Route 140 closed

An accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian has closed part of a route in East Windsor.

According to officials, Route 140 is closed between Rice Road and Harrington Road due to the collision.

Authorities said one vehicle was involved and that at least one person sustained serious injuries.

The incident was first reported around 11:15 a.m.

It is not known when the route will fully reopen.
