Officials say one person has died after being struck by a vehicle in Bristol on Monday night.
According to police, around 8:00 p.m., a vehicle collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Jerome Avenue.

The pedestrian was then transported to St. Francis Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday afternoon, police announced that the person had died. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
Authorities did not say if the driver had suffered any injuries.
