Plane with mechanical problem lands at Bradley Airport

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH)– An airplane that left Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks on Friday morning experienced a mechanical problem and had to turn around.

Bradley Airport officials say that an American Airlines flight traveling from Bradley to Washington D.C. reported a mechanical problem. The aircraft then returned to Bradley and landed safely.

The nature of the mechanical problem is unclear but the incident did not impact airport operations.
