NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) – Four people were injured in a crash Tuesday morning in Newington, according to the Newington Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a crash just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Cedar Street and Willard Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two vehicles had collided at the intersection.


Four people were transported to a local hospital following the crash. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The Cedar Street and Willard Avenue intersection is shut down due to the investigation, and there is no ETA as to when it will reopen. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
