HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Hartford Police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting at a gas station on Friday morning, authorities said.

Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting around 1:13 a.m. at the Citgo gas at 110 Brainard Road. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in a vehicle.

The man was transported to Hartford Hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating the shooting.
