25 year-old man dies after motorcycle crash in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a car Saturday evening.

Hartford Police responded to the area of Garden Street at Liberty Street for a report of a serious motorcycle crash at 5:32 P.M..

Officers found a 25-year-old man in the roadway near a red 2002 Yamaha R6 motorcycle. He was later transported to Saint Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The other vehicle involved was a 2005 Acura TL.

Police say the driver of the Acura remained on scene and was uninjured.

Detectives from the Crime Scene Division responded to the scene of the crash and assumed control
of the investigation.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with any information regarding the case is
