WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A police investigation is underway in West Hartford was “safely resolved” by 7:30 p.m., according to officials.

According to the West Hartford Police Department, officers responded to a home on Crocker Avenue at 9:28 a.m. to conduct a non-criminal welfare assessment of a resident.

Police said that based on the nature of the complaint, officers were staged outside of the home.

Crocker Avenue was been closed between South Quaker Lane and Trout Brook Drive, officials said.

No criminal charges have been filed, no one was injured and there was no threat to the public, according to officers.
