HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two men were shot Tuesday afternoon near downtown Hartford.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation near Buckingham and Wadsworth streets around 12:45 p.m.

Officers found one victim in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where police said he is listed in critical condition.

The second victim, also in his 20s, arrived at a hospital, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to police.

It was not immediately known if anyone was in custody.

Police said that the suspect vehicle is a white BMW X5.
