Hartford residents rescued in second alarm apartment fire

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Crews in Hartford responded to a structure fire early Sunday morning.

Officials said the call came just after midnight. Crews were dispatched to Merrill Street in the West End for a fire at an apartment building.

Crew members rescued residents on the third floor.

No injuries have been reported and the extent of the damage is unknown.
