Senator Blumenthal to call for better protection of museums and libraries

Hartford

(WTNH) — U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal will call for better protection of museums and libraries on Monday.

Sen. Blumenthal will be making that call after President Trump’s 2021 budget proposal recommends removing federal support for those services. Last year, museums and libraries in Connecticut received about $650 million in grant funding.
