Crash involving pedestrian in Wethersfield was fatal, police say

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Wethersfield police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Wednesday night.

Westhersfield police and EMS crews responded to the 1300 block of Silas Deane Highway at around 8:17 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said the pedestrian was seriously injured and was transported to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The victim has not been identified at this time.

It is unclear at this time what caused the crash.
