South Windsor Police search for robbery suspect

Police are searching for the man who allegedly robbed a South Windsor liquor store at gunpoint. 

On Sunday, November 25 at about 1:45 p.m. police responded to the Kenco Spirits store at 17 Main St. in South Windsor for a report of a robbery. 

The liquor store clerk told police that a light-skinned black man, about 6’2″, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and cloth mask entered Kenco Spirits and displayed a gun. 

According to police, the clerk opened the register and the suspect grabbed the cash and ran to a dark vehicle waiting nearby over the East Hartford town line.

South Windsor Police ask that anyone with information about this incident contact Detective Chris Poehnert at (860) 644-2551.
