Southington teen arrested in connection with racist video posted online

Southington police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with a racially inappropriate video that was posted on social media last week.

Southington police announced Thursday afternoon that the teen was charged with breach of peace. He is scheduled to appear in juvenile court on January 2.

The details of the case remain sealed, but officers did say that they do not anticipate making any further arrests related to the case.
