A special flyover happened in East Hartford on Wednesday morning.
Eight vintage aircrafts traveled through the state on their way to Europe to participate in a celebration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
The planes flew over Pratt and Whitney at 11:30 a.m. in recognition of their engines powering the aircraft.
And just a heads up if you heard something strange, the aircrafts made a lot of noise since they’re flying about one thousand feet above the ground.
