BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Bristol police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Rodriguez, after finding him hiding out in the attic of a garage.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Monday, Daniel Rodriguez was taken into custody. The wanted felon, found hiding in the attic of a Beacon Street garage in Bristol, had two outstanding arrest warrants. He had been charged with failure to appear and violation of probation.

Bristol police say the failure to appear warrant stemmed from February, when Rodriguez robbed a Brookfield bank. Rodriguez was able to post bond, but didn’t show for his court date.

Additionally, Rodriguez’s probation officer was forced to file an arrest warrant when he disobeyed the terms of his probation.

Rodriguez was held on a $75,000 bond for the failure to appear charge, and a $25,000 bond for violation of probation. He is set to appear in Bristol Superior on Monday morning.
