WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — An announcement made over the weekend will be affecting shoppers in the West Hartford area.

After nearly a decade, Shop Rite says they have decided to close their West Hartford store.

The company says in spite of their competitive pricing, food products and service, they have struggled to make the store profitable.

Shop Rite will close November 26th, two days before Thanksgiving.
