People in Windsor Locks voted to approve proposed tax incentive plans for a proposed $230-million sports complex on Wednesday evening.
First Selectman J. Christopher Kervick confirms the vote was 969 yes -729 no.
The facility would have space for national tournaments including basketball, soccer, lacrosse and volleyball.
People voted on whether the town should offer the developer a tax break that would reduce the property taxes on the facility by up to 90-percent over 30 years.
