The nice weather means more people are out on the roads traveling throughout the state.
Specifically — on motorcycles.
After two crashes involving motorcycles on Saturday, safety is once again put front and center.
Owners of local bike shops are busy with customers on Saturday. They stress safety with each sale.
“The CT DOT offers a safety course that you have to take to get your license…Always stress you take the course,” Jodi Green, owner of New Haven Powersports said.

“We go over road safety…Watch out for cars…Texting while driving,” added Keith Libby, owner of Libby’s Motorworld.
Earlier this week, the Connecticut House passed a bill requiring motorcycle drivers 21 and under to wear a helmet.
