Hemp farming bill heads to the governor


A bill that could lead to hemp farming in Connecticut is heading to the governor’s desk.

It passed the House of Representatives Wednesday night.

The bill would require the State Department of Agriculture to establish a pilot program for growing hemp.

Governor Lamont says he will sign it.
