Immigration advocates want ICE agents out of courthouses

Connecticut

(WTNH) — Immigration advocates are rallying at the Connecticut Supreme Court in Hartford on Monday for federal immigration agents to not be in state courthouses.

Advocates say unless the agents have arrest warrants, they should not be in state courthouses. However, judicial officials say they can not ban federal agents because courthouses are open to the public under the state constitution.
