TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Torrington Fire Department fought a 2nd alarm fire at a multi-family home Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze began at around 2:19 p.m. at home at 129 Wall Street, Torrington Fire Department reported.
First units on scene observed heavy smoke coming from the eaves of a two-and-a-half story home and high heat on the third floor.
The fire has been contained and extinguished. Searches revealed the building to be unoccupied.
No injuries have been reported. Minimal water damage throughout the building was reported.
The Torrington Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting the investigation into the origin and cause of the fire.
