We’re checking another town off the Destination Location list as we pay a visit to Watertown.
Once known as Wooster-Westbury, the town was incorporated as Watertown in 1780. Dairy farming was a large industry in Watertown for many years with more than 30 operating dairy farms in the early 1900s.
Locals enjoy exploring all of the nature in town, including Mattatuck State Forest and Black Rock State Park. They also enjoy the close community, espcially all of the small businesses that are known to collaborate.
