Officials identify victim of serious motorcycle crash in Torrington


Officials have identified the victim of a serious motorcycle crash in Torrington.

According to officials, on Thursday, a pickup truck being operated by 77-year-old Barbara Brennan was turning onto Burr Mountain Road.

Authorities say the truck turned into the path of a motorcycle being operated by 28-year-old Ryan Grustas, also of Torrington.

Life Star was called to the scene and transported Grustas to a local hospital.

Officials say he is currently in critical but stable condition in the ICU.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
