TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) – At approximately 8:10 p.m. the Torrington Fire Department was dispatched to 165 Pearl Street for a reported structure fire. 

When crews arrived on scene they reported smoke showing from the second floor of a two story single family house.

A total of two occupants were in the house at the time of the fire. One was transported from
the scene for possible smoke inhalation and burns.

Harwinton West Side Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual aid.

The fire was knocked down at approximately 8:45 p.m.

A total of two people were displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross responded to assist the
displaced occupants.

There has been no cause determined at this time.
