PD: 2 juveniles arrested in Thomaston after crashing stolen vehicle


Two juveniles were apprehended after a motor vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle on Tuesday morning.

According to officials, around 4:20 a.m., units responded to a crash involving a single vehicle and a guardrail on Walnut Hill Road near Northfield Road.

When police arrived, they said that three individuals ran on foot.

Two were eventually taken into custody.

Authorities said an investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Waterbury and that the juveniles were in possession of pellet handguns.

The two were arrested and transported to a located hospital where they were treated for injuries.

They have since been released from the hospital.
