Crash on Rt. 202 in Washington sends 4 people to the hospital, closes road for hours

WASHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police were called to investigate a crash that shut down Route 202 South in Washington for nearly three hours Saturday evening.

State Police confirmed that multiple people involved in the accident were taken to Danbury Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The accident was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. The road was reopened at approximately 10:30 p.m.

No information has been shared on the injuries of those involved. or the cause of the crash.
