Torrington first responders receive grant to purchase Narcan


First responders in Torrington will soon be able to save lives faster, thanks to a generous donation from a local non-profit. 

The police and fire departments just got a $6,000 grant to spend on Narcan from the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation.

Officers have used Narcan to reverse opioid overdoses on a number of occasions in that city.
