Winchester police find missing juvenile


WINCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — The Winchester Police Department have found a missing and possibly endangered juvenile who ran into a densely wooded area off of Spencer Hill Road in Winsted.

Police say that at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Friday, officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle in the Spencer St. area, and chased it when it did not stop. The vehicle came to a stop in the area of Losaw Rad and Spencer Hill Road and three occupants fled the scene on foot. Two individuals were located, but the third, a 16 year old Caucasian female, ran into the wooded area near Losaw and Smith Hill Roads and has not been found.

The missing female was identified as Brittany Dionne.

Dionne was located as she came out of a wooded area, two miles from where she was last seen.
