Young Boy Approached by Vehicle in Watertown


Around 2:50 p.m. Friday afternoon, an 11-year-old boy was approached by a white Toyota sedan while at his bus stop at the top of Tucker Avenue in the area of French Street. 

The suspicious vehicle approached the boy, asking if he needed a ride and then asked him to get inside the car. The boy said no and ran home. 

The person driving the vehicle was described as a tan- skinned male in his late 20’s with dark hair and scruff on his face. He was wearing a blue shirt with a baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or with knowledge of similar events is asked to contact Watertown School Resource Officer Desena or Watertown Police at 860-945-5200.
