(WTNH) — The Mashantucket Pequot tribal nation has kicked off its distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations on Tuesday.

The fire department team members were one of the firsts to receive their first doses of the Moderna vaccine. The tribal nation says first responders and those most at-risk are being vaccinated first followed by tribal elders, tribal community, and Foxwoods Resort Casino team members.
