Bus breaks down in Middletown, students helped by National Guard, CT State Police

Students received two helping hands when their bus broke down in Middletown on Thursday afternoon.

According to Connecticut State Police, around 3:00 p.m., a school bus was disabled on Interstate 91.

Troopers said soldier with the National Guard stopped and assisted with traffic while students were loaded onto a second bus.

State Police took to Twitter to thank the soldiers for their assistance.
