Connecticut Valley Hospital temporarily closing detox unit

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown is temporarily closing its detox unit.

The eight patients in the space will be discharged when the unit closes on Friday and hospital officials are not yet sure when the space will re-open. Staff will be re-assigned temporarily while the hospital makes some changes.
