1 dead, identified after crash on I-95 Southbound in Old Saybrook,

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) - A crash with a serious injury had closed part of Interstate 95 Southbound in Old Saybrook late Tuesday morning and through much of the afternoon.

According to officials, the southbound side of the highway was closed prior to exit 67 because of the collision between a box truck and a tractor trailer. The left lane was also closed on the northbound side.

 

 

Police say one a man was killed after a the box truck rear-ended the tractor trailer. 

One driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The operator was identfied as Man Biao Luo, 60 of New York.

The highway has since reopened.

The accident is still under investigation.
