Lanes reopen following motorcycle crash on I-91 North in Cromwell

Middlesex

A motorcycle accident had prompted lane closures in Cromwell on Saturday afternoon.

According to officials, the crash was reported around noon on Interstate 91 Northbound between Exits 21 and 22.

Police charged 52-year-old Tanya Matthews from New Haven. They say Matthews allegedly changed lanes and hit a motorcyle. Matthews was arrested and is accused of leaving the scene of the accident.

It is not yet known what caused the crash or if there are any injuries.

All lanes reopened around 12:40 p.m.
