Officials say possible drowning at Millers Pond is hoax

DURHAM, Conn. (WTNH) — DEEP EnCon police say they responded to Millers Pond in Durham for a report of a possible drowning.

Officials say the call for a possible drowning came in after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. DEEP EnCon police and local search and rescue are at Millers Pond to investigate the report of a body in the water, but say it was determined to be unfounded. Officials say they are clearing the scene.
