One injured in Cromwell fire

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — Cromwell Police confirm that one person was hurt in a fire on Leghorn Lane in Cromwell.

On Monday night at 11:16 p.m., Cromwell Police received a call reporting a fire at 6 Leghorn Lane. Members from the Cromwell Police, Fire, and EMS departments all responded to the scene.

Upon their arrival, they found a large fire at the reported residence. Multiple fire departments from surrounding towns responded to the scene.

One resident of the home was injured during the fire and transported to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
