Police identify man killed in Haddam head-on collision

Police have identified the man who was killed in a head-on collision on Route 81 in Haddam on Thursday evening.

Connecticut State Police say that just before 5 p.m., a Dodge Neon and a Chrysler Sebring collided head-on in the area of 613 Route 81 (Killingworth Road).

The driver of the Dodge, 41-year-old Andrew Douglas Hamilton, of Norwich, died from his injuries sustained in the crash. 

The driver of the Chrysler, 40-year-old Victoria Foxx, of North Haven, was taken to Hartford Hospital for serious injuries. Her current condition is unknown. 

The crash remains under investigation. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call them at 860-399-2100.
