Postal inspectors seek suspect after USPS employee robbed in Cromwell

U.S. Postal Inspectors are looking for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect who robbed a USPS employee.

According to authorities, the crime took place on Sept. 7th around 6:15 p.m. at the Cromwell Post Office at 528 Main Street.

The employee was exiting the back of a postal vehicle when an unidentified man displayed a firearm and demanded postal property.

The suspect has been described as man with a light complexion who stood around 5’9″ and had a Spanish accent. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and black facemask.

No injuries from the incident have been reported.
