U.S. Senator Chris Murphy is hoping to help college students experiencing food and housing insecurity at a round table in Middletown on Monday. 

Senator Murphy is set to hold a round table at Middlesex Community College in Middletown on Monday where he’ll unveil a report that raises awareness of the problem.

A recent study shows about 17 percent of CSCU students surveyed reported housing instability or homelessness, while a quarter of UCONN students reported concerns of food insecurity.
