NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A male is expected to survive being shot in the leg Tuesday morning in New Haven, according to police.

Officials have not specified the male’s age, but said he was shot at about 7 a.m. near the intersection of Grafton Street and Rowe Street.

The male was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital. Police have not publicly announced any details about any potential suspects.
